Heart College the first institution of higher education by our Congregation,established
in 1944 when Rev.Fr.Fracis Sales was the Prior.The college building
was blessed by Msgr.Peter Kierkels,the Apostolic Delegate in India on
May 29, 1944.It was consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June
16, 1944 and was officially inaugurated on August 14 of the same year.The
first Principal of the college was Rev.Fr.Romeo Thomas Mannanal.Today
the college has five batches of Pre-Degree Classes, 8 undergraduate
and 6 postgraduate courses, a recognized Center for M.Phil and another
for Ph.D |
